Prakramika Vocational Institute (PVI)
established in 2015 in Chennai, India, operates as a Social Enterprise under the visionary leadership of its founder, Dr. Gayatri Narasimhan. The primary objective of the institute is to address the educational and training requirements of neurodiverse children and adults, aiming to empower them to lead independent and dignified lives.
PVI is committed to serving a broad spectrum of the neurodiverse community by providing certified vocational training and skill development courses at no cost. Presently, these courses are offered online and structured as PG Diploma programs. Moreover, PVI extends its expertise to special educators, teachers, parents, and caregivers of neurodiverse individuals by offering training sessions, which include the formulation of strategies for establishing ‘Vocational Centres.’

In a strategic alliance with placement companies, PVI goes beyond training by actively supporting students in securing suitable internship and job opportunities. The institute also engages in awareness programs, collaborating with industry leaders and government officials to advocate for the inclusion and integration of the neurodiverse community into society. Through these initiatives, PVI contributes to fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment.
